Two CSS professors wrote chapter for new book

Dr. Ken Harvey of the Department of Media & Communications and Dr. Nygmet Ibadildin of International Relations helped co-author a new book released in June, Handbook of Research on Human Social Interaction in the Age of Mobile Devices, a copy of which is in the KIMEP library. The two CSS professors wrote the chapter, “Business and Mobile: Rapid Restructure Required.” Dr. Harvey authored by himself the chapter, “Local News and Mobile: Major Tipping Points.” Dr. Harvey also co-authored three chapters on marketing, branding and PR with KIMEP graduate Yulia Ahn, now a doctoral student in Germany, and two other chapters with Dr. Philip Auter, the executive director of the American Communications Association, which accredits DMC. One of those chapters was, “Educators and Mobile: Challenges and Trends,” highlighting Dr. Harvey’s work on distance learning. More information about the 548-page book, published by IGI Global, can be found at http://www.igi-global.com/book/handbook-research-human-social-interaction/146988.
