Welcome party is one of the attractive events to all newcomers, especially for international students who come to KIMEP to study for different periods either from partner universities or independently. On the 4th September we, KIMEPians, gathered altogether to welcome our new friends to our big family. Dances and songs from our current students created joyful atmosphere and were presents to newcomers.
Farewell Party for Students Fall 2015
“Time flies so fast”- these words are kept in the minds of all students when it’s time to Say “Bye” to KIMEP University and Kazakhstan.
This Monday, November 30, 2015 KISA and DIAM organized one of the events for International Exchange, non-degree, and graduating Students in one of the bars “360 Bar”. It was just one more reason to gather all together and celebrate the completion of the studying at KIMEP University. At the beginning of the event, Director of Department of International Academic Mobility, Elmira Suleimanova and Program Coordinator, Aizhan Akhmetova give a short speech and awarded all participants with certificates and small souvenirs from KIMEP and Kazakhstan. “It is just a small suvenir but from the bottom of our hearts that we could gift to our lovely students”-said Elmira Suleimanova and Aizhan Akhmetova.
During the Farewell evening students was requested to follow the dress code “White T-Shirt” in order to write warm wishes, thankful words, or some short notes on their Friend’s, Classmate’s, Exchangemate’s, Program Coordinator T-Shirts.
It was a really warm atmosphere during the whole event. All students were actively involved in the “Farewell Party Quiz Games” which were created by KISA representatives to help once again unite all students, international and Kazakhstan, who became a part of the Big KIMEP Family. We have noticed that all Exchange students at the stage of completion their stay in Kazakhstan became more knowledgeable about KIMEP University, Kazakhstan geography, traditions, and cuisines.
Students kept communicating, were really friendly, writing a note, celebrating, enjoying the exciting pre-Christmas time with local students, international friends before the start of Final exams.
What would we like to wish to our International Students? Of course, good luck on the Final Exams and congratulations for becoming members of the “Big KIMEP Family”!
