Country Day: Hungary

Department of International Academic Mobility has launched a new page in creating monthly based event which is called “Country Day” dedicated for one country introduction. The purpose of the “Country Day” is to create a friendly atmosphere on campus, giving international students an opportunity to share knowledge with KIMEP community and guests about their home country from different perspectives: history, traditions, cuisine, education opportunities, language, etc. At the same time, locals have a great chance to learn more about a new country our international students came from, meet interesting people, chill out, communicate and become closer to each other, create a good networking which would last for the whole life.

And this Thursday, April 14 such event opened its door to Hungary. Two representatives of Hungary, students Attila Koppany and Daniel Csur presented a lot of interesting facts, historical background, and dance for all participants. Everybody tried to pronounce toungtwisters in Hungarian language which was not easy at all!

Inspired by the idea, staff members of DIAM Aizhan and Zhamilya cooked delitious Hangarian pie and Makoś Vanilias Kifli.
