The second launch of the Country day was organized to present the next country Scotland by Student Andrew Coogans who came to study by Dual Degree Program from Glasgow University. It was an interesting introductory presentation about culture, basic traditions, national cloths and even the language. It was interesting short quiz prepared by Andrew to guess what do the words mean in Scottish language. “Mmm, it was not easy as we expect” – said Aizada (undergraduate student). But it was fun and interesting to know that Scottish is a difficult language to understand. Zhamilya Utarbayeva get a prize for greatest number of guessing words. Student was prepared some traditional cuisine as for example, Sottish Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep’s pluck (heart, liver and lungs) and some sweets. All participants get a chance to communicate after the small country session and share their own impression.
“It was an interesting to learn more about undiscovered country, now I wish to visit it and try by my own” – said Aigerim.
