On April 22, 2017 KIMEP University celebrated the most anticipated and magnificent event of the year – Nauryz celebration on campus. This year’s celebration of Nauryz was dedicated to the 25 th anniversary of KIMEP and turned to be a huge success for the university. DIAM and BIS Team were fully involved in arranging the cultural booths of various countries such as France, Sweden, Hungary, USA, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Nigeria. National dishes were served, and national costumes along with vivid posters were demonstrated. Also, many distinguished guests were invited to join the celebration of this beautiful event of the year. Student Affairs office with the help of students and staff organized an exciting program that included concert, installation of the Kazakh traditional house – “yurt”, featuring traditionally equipped and dressed knights –“batyrs” and a hunting eagle; there was also a games corner with many interesting activities.
