On June 14-16 in Paris the finals of L’Oreal Brandstorm 2017 international business game, being recognized as one of the world’s major student innovations competitions took place.
42 teams, totaling to 126 finalists from different countries of the world presented their revolutionary ideas at the first ever Brandstorm Innovations Fair. Students demonstrated their projects to the jury which consisted of 60 experts – the executives of L’Oréal and the key partners of the company. The challenge for contestants was to think up a “revolutionary idea in the sphere of skin care products for men” for для L’Oréal Paris Men Expert.
Creating a radically new showering product for men, a personally tailored formula to satisfy any needs and even nano-capsules allowing to fit a skin caring product into a credit card size packaging – are just some of the examples of projects presented in the final stage of the 25th L’Oréal Brandstorm international business game. The competition was severe and teams from Brazil, Thailand and Singapore became the winners of the contest.
It is notable that this year Kazakhstan took part in Brandstorm for the first time, and our team, being through the regional selection was competing at the international finals.
Jury members noted the idea as well as the great presentation skills of a Kazakhstani team representing KIMEP University and being titled Team Bang. Throughout the 25-year history of Brandstorm contest more than 100 000 students from 58 coutries competed in it.
