Please welcome to the fourteen edition of Alumni Talks – KIMEP Alumna MBA 2013 Alexandra Bekisheva. Alexandra received a bachelor’s degree from the Modern Humanitarian Academy, kept pursuing advanced studies at the Russian–Kazakhstan Modern Humanitarian University, KIMEP University and University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, and is successfully building her career at the same time. Mrs. Bekisheva’s career is closely associated with ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP since 2003.
Holding the position of ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP’s CEO, Alexandra Bekisheva is also the Vice-President of the Kazakhstan Project Management Association. Beginning in 2009, Mrs. Bekisheva provides leadership to one of the Kazakhstan partner’s shares in KPJV joint venture, and from 2014 onwards chairs its Board of Directors. This company executes Future Growth Project and Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP-WPMP) for Tengizchevroil.
Mrs. Bekisheva was recognized for her contribution into development of oil and gas and energy industry in Kazakhstan with KAZENERGY Medal and awarded the certificate of appreciation and the recognition letter by the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the certificate of appreciation by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Oil Service Companies Association KAZSERVIСE Medal, and the 120th Anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Oil Award Pin by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In December 2019, ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP under her leadership became the first and only certified organization in the world that has the Competence Class 4 according to the new IPMA Delta® V 4.0 Standard.
In 2020, Mrs. Bekisheva was ranked among the TOP 50 Women Leaders in Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Business by Petrocouncil Oil & Gas Strategic Partnership Development Council and since 2019 has been taking part in Annual Global CEO Survey by PwC Kazakhstan and Forbes Kazakhstan.
