MAIJ – June 30

KIMEP U offers the opportunity to do a master degree in international journalism for free.

Five 100% scholarships for the Master of International Journalism in the Department of Media and Communications give the opportunity to applicants from various fields to build themselves as media and communication specialists in their specific industry.

KIMEP Univeristy’s Department of Media and Communications (DMC) is offering five full scholarships for its Master of International Journalism (MAIJ) Program. The scholarship is available to applicants from any industry and nationality. The deadline for application is June 30, 2019.

The Master of International Journalism program is designed for would-be specialists in journalism, media, and public relations and advertising. It also equips experts with professional background in other business, public and NGO fields with the full skillset to effectively communicate in their industry. In addition, the master program prepares students to pursue a second master or a PhD abroad.

The effective term of the scholarship has been changed. For the coming academic year, all students on scholarship can use this support for up to two consecutive academic years – 2019-2020AY and 2020-2021AY. The new distribution scheme gives students increased flexibility in their studies and should improve students’ results and overall preparation for the market.

“In the evaluation of our Program we have acknowledged the recommendations of our students to keep their scholarship for a longer period of their studies. With the new 2-year scholarship distribution our students can plan a smooth learning progress”, the MAIJ Program Coordinator, Dr. Milen Filipov explained.
