In honor of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan KIMEP University once again unites fans and professional ping-pong players in the Ping-Pong Tournament for athletes with disabilities – Special Olympic Games.
On November 23, 2019 KIMEP University’s Sports Center will host another ping-pong competition for athletes with disabilities.
Special Olympic Games are becoming a tradition for KIMEP University. First tournament was held in 2017. Forty athletes competed for the main prize that year.
KIMEP University regularly promotes cooperation not only in academics, but also in sports and healthy life style among young people. For several years now KIMEP has been a platform for bringing together students from various cities and universities to participate in ping-pong tournaments. And thanks to the Special Olympic Games KIMEP also engages young people with limited abilities into sport, and contributes to their socialization and integration into society.
This year’s finalists will be awarded with cups and medals. Medals and certificates will also be presented to all participants.
