KIMEP University’s Executive Education Center hosted an offline meeting of the KIMEP HR Club on June 23 rd of 2022!

The meeting of the KIMEP HR Club took place on June 23, 2022 in the recently renovated Valikhanov building halls of KIMEP University. KIMEP University welcomed 50+ participants representing 35 companies, including: Big 4, Toyota Motor Kazakhstan, Halyk Bank, ANCOR Central Asia, Optimum Recruitment, ACG, Fashion Retail Kazakhstan LLP, Grand Technologies of Resources, Alageum, Magnum, TechnoPlus LTD, Cloud Maker, Fonte Capital LTD, and many others.

The KIMEP HR Club history is traced back to 2009 when KIMEP University administration has followed the interest of the HR Managers of the partner companies to organize KIMEP HR Club. KIMEP HR Club is a platform where HR managers can loudly speak about their successes and challenges, solve various issues together and find beneficial solutions.
The new moderator of the HR club, Mr. Berik Bitabarov, Vice President for Human Resources Management, Board of Trustees member at Kazakhtelecom JSC, emphasized the need to discuss the problems of developing and implementing an HR strategy that modern leaders face after the COVID-19 lockdown. Mr. Berik Bitabarov has over 25 years of experience in HRM in local and foreign companies. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Berik Bitabarov emphasized the importance of regular meetings with HR managers and discussion of new employment schemes (online, offline, hybrid), talent selection, employee reskilling, corporate culture and many other issues. He also highlighted about the support of each other by sharing best practices and finding solutions to benefit the growth of Kazakhstani companies. In addition, Mr. Berik Bitabarov expressed concern about the lack of a well-defined HR strategy among Kazakhstani companies.
Alexandra Pak, HR Director, member of the Board of Directors at Petrel AI, PHRi Certified Trainer, delivered the keynote speech of the KIMEP HR Club. She highlighted the latest global trends in human resource management, including next-generation employment expectations, HR functions and workforce automation, employee wellbeing programs, creative recruitment and employment forms, and new forms of employee work.
Members of the KIMEP HR Club decided to continue to meet regularly (once in two months) to discuss further HR strategy issues in Kazakhstani organizations, such as staff reskilling, HR strateges and the HR budget.
