Step 1. SIGN THE CONTRACT FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND RECEIVE YOUR LOGIN AND PASSWORD TO SET UP A UNIVERSITY E-MAIL AND USE COMPUTER LABS
The electronic version of the Contract is available on your applicant’s portal in the section “Acceptance Package”:
- Go to your applicant portal page https://www.kimep.kz/ext/application/online/en-US/
- Open the “Acceptance Package” section by pressing FILL IN button;
- In the open window you will see your KIMEP EMAIL, USER NAME and PASSWORD links, make yourself familiar with the information inside those links;
- To receive access to your CONTRACT and following registration for courses tick the blue box agreeing to the terms and conditions of the contract and press the “submit” button;
- Go back to the ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE section where you will see the clickable link called CONTRACT;
- Download and print one copy of your contract, sign it on each page, scan and upload on your applicant portal in the section “Documents for upload”, field “SIGNED CONTRACT”;

Besides calendar-scheduled and corporate seminars, the Professional Development Program offers training at a Mini MBA program.The Mini MBA program was launched in 2012 aimed at the acquisition of the main managerial and professional knowledge, skills and business competencies.The Mini MBA professional program is the only professional program in the Republic of Kazakhstan that has obtained international accreditation from FIBAA (Bonn, Germany).

Mini MBA Curriculum
Program duration:
- Consists of 12 courses (8 required, 4 specialized)
- Designed for up to 12 months of study (could be completed in 8 months of continuous studying)
Mini MBA students have the opportunity to not only independently choose courses from the assigned program list, but to also adjust their program and choose any course they are interested in from the list of Advanced Courses (the list is available on 5-6 pages).
Duration of one course:
- 24 academic hours (three full days; training takes place on Saturdays, but it is also possible to adjust study days – weekdays/weekends)
Language of instruction: Russian/English
Seminar schedule: 9:00 to 18:00, lunch 13:00 to 14:00, 2 coffee breaks

METHODS OF TRAINING
Main methods:
Interactive training (active involvement of participants in the learning process), mini-lectures, testing, brainstorming, group discussions, practical tasks in small groups, mini-presentations, analysis of business cases and videos. The module is based on interactive methodology – active involvement of participants in the learning process. Guest speakers/experts and business professionals are invited to each course.
