Paul Howe, a native of the New York City area, has nearly 9 years teaching experience in Kazakhstan. After many years in the environmental business in the USA he came to Kazakhstan as a Peace Corps volunteer to teach in Petropavlovsk in northern Kazakhstan. Finding the country so fascinating, he decided to stay after his service and has worked as a teacher, with a specialty in business English, and has edited manuscripts for publication. He lives in Almaty with his new wife and in his free time enjoys painting scenes of Almaty and the surrounding countryside.
