Results of the IR Essay Competition “The Events in Afghanistan 2021: Impact on Security in Central Asia”
1st rank: 1 prize – 200,000 KZT – Tara Matthews (MIR)
2nd rank: 2 prizes – 120,000 KZT – Timon Ostermeier (MIR) & Muhamedzhan Bazarov (BIR)
3rd rank: 3 prizes – 80,000 KZT – Aiya Siyaz (BIR) & Alina Zafar (BIR) & Ayazhan Yerzhomartova (BIR)
Some statistics:
32 essays were submitted
28 essays were evaluated by independent evaluators anonymously
Students of the following program submitted their essays: LLM, MAIJ, MIR, BACS, BPMA, BACTA, BMGT, BIS, BMKT, BIR, but only students of “International Relations” program of both levels are among the winners, which is understandable.
We are grateful to all participants and all participants will be awarded the Certificates of Appreciation during the official Award Ceremony
Many essays were excellent, but unfortunately we have limited number of prizes
The award ceremony will take place on February 25, 2022
